AB  - <p>The use of antibiotic drugs, particularly the quinolone group, can cause acquired QT prolongation and blockage of the potassium channel (Ik). We report a case of torsade de pointes (TdP) triggered by the use of ciprofloxacin to treat arteriovenous fistulas infection.</p>
